Amanda Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor. She has experience working with people that have experienced trauma, including traumatic experiences, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, self-harming behaviors, marital conflict, grief, ADHD, and behavioral and emotional dysregulation. In addition to counseling services, she is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor and Approved Consultant EMDR Therapist. She believes that everyone deserves a happy and healthy life. She has a PhD in Family Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Licensed Professional Counselor from the North Carolina Board of Counseling and Therapeutic Services. She has dedicated 13 years of her career to helping people find their healthy path in life. Her practice offers the following services: individual therapy, family therapy, marital/couples therapy, consultation, and supervision. She uses a Symbolic Experiential Therapy approach layered with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
