Entering motherhood is a joyful but stressful experience –new mothers can feel happy and overwhelmed at the same time. Being a parent can feel daunting –parents can feel inadequate to their role. Having a child who is different or has special needs is challenging –parents can feel unprepared. You are not alone, being a parent is the most rewarding and challenging job in the world. As a therapist, I can help you to become the parent you want to be and find your path to happy and fulfilling parenthood. As a former pediatric nurse working in the NICU, I understand the challenges this experience brings to babies and parents. I believe we can thrive as parents even when life brings us challenges. I am here to offer care and healing. I have experience working with babies, young children, mothers, and couples. I have knowledge and comfort with neurodiversity and parenting neurodiverse children. I am passionate in working with babies and help parents connecting with them. I believe in the mind-body connection and use a bio-psycho-social approach to provide a non-judgmental environment. I also offer neurofeedback as a modality to support healing. I work best with babies and women in the perinatal period, and specialized in anger, anxiety, and trauma.
