My name is John Senese but you I go by Jack. I spent 24 years in New York before moving to Los Angeles in 2016. Here is where I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. I have significant experience working LGBTQ+ individuals, substance use/abuse, and survivors of trauma. Due to my experience with providing neurofeedback-based interventions, I have worked a lot with individuals experiencing anxiety and stress, along with a wide-range of substance use, body-image and OCD-type disorders. I use a strengths-based collaborative approach in my work with clients. I take a direct, hands-on approach to therapy and believe in the human potential for healing, growth and change. I work to create an affirmative and direct approach based in compassion, curiosity and acceptance. I do my best to help my clients feel as ease and understood, while addressing their experiences, concerns, thoughts, feelings, hopes and goals.
