I believe that each client is an expert in their own life thus therapeutic work should be collaborative. I take a motivational, strengths-based approach with the belief that eventually the pain will subside and we get to decide what will take its place. Therapy can be uncomfortable but it should be embraced as we make changes for growth, find value through the difficult experiences, and peace in collaboration. I understand therapy can be difficult to step into my goal is to just help you feel it was worth it! I have had experience working with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, eating disorders, trauma, gender identity, life transitions, mood disorders, suicidality, and attachment disorders. I can offer different modalities to help cope with each issue as each is individual and problem-solving is rarely a "one size fits all" kind of thing. Therapy requires vulnerability and connection through empathy, I understand that those are not easy things to foster but I believe in the therapeutic process to help bridge those hard times with successful endings.
