The process of recovering from an addiction to drugs and/ or alcohol is a difficult task, but achievable. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I use a person-centered approach to motivate, empower, and support clients as they develop and meet their recovery goals. In my clinical sessions, I help clients establish constructive patterns of thinking and behavior. I have helped many individuals with overcoming their addictions, and am passionate about providing them with the tools they need to succeed with a sober lifestyle. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with nearly a decade of experience in the addiction field. Prior to my work as a therapist, I held a director’s role within the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, providing behavioral health resources to community members. Everyone deserves a compassionate therapist. We will work together to create an environment that is comfortable and collaborative. We will develop an individualized treatment plan that prioritizes your goals, health and wellness, and personal development in order to help you where you are in your journey. I look forward to hearing from you!
