I am an empathetic counselor who works collaboratively with clients to help them live their best life. I believe that individuals are their own "specialists" in their lives. My job is to help them discover their skills and provide them with tools to empower their lives. This is achieved through a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. I have worked with various populations including children, teens and adults. I also have worked with students in an elementary and high school setting. I have experiences providing group, individual, and couples therapy. My therapeutic approach is eclectic. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Therapy, Trauma-Informed Mindfulness, and Dialectical Therapy (DBT). I have experience helping people suffering from a variety of different needs including PTSD/trauma, anxiety/depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, addictions, mood disorders and behavioral problems.
