The team at A New Direction understands that individuals come to a point in their lives when change is needed. We are here to offer the support, resources and skills to accommodate a healthy lifestyle while working on "the self" to incorporate needed changes that lead to a productive life. We specialize in mental health, addiction and trauma related issues. We have a variety of modalities to reach each person where he/she is now, allowing an individualized approach to recovery and/or wellness. Our program is aimed at applying skills and resources in everyday life to incorporate change. We offer counseling services to meet individual needs. Some of the services we provide include individual therapy, family therapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR and neurofeedback. We have an APRN (Advanced Pracgtice Registered Nurse) on site to meet medication needs. Services/resources used to provide a unique experience for each individual. EMDR therapy, allows individuals to get to core issues that may have caused dysfunction in their life. Neurofeedback is a brain training that uses positive feedback to the brain using sound. Hypnotherapy is "self hypnosis," with a focus on "the power of suggestion."
