Healing Realms Psychotherapy is a clinical psychologist who has many years of experience helping people with a variety of psychological concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and acute psychiatric illness. He uses a humanistic approach to therapy which emphasizes warmth, authenticity, humor, and appreciation for the uniqueness of every individual. He also has a strong interest in non-ordinary states of consciousness and psychedelic-assisted therapies. He has worked as a research consultant for several FDA-approved studies on the use of MDMA, psilocybin, and ketamine for treatment-resistant conditions, and has been a staff member and supervisor for the Zendo Project psychedelic harm reduction program for 7 years. He also lectures frequently at conferences and universities about psychedelic medicines and the future of psychotherapy.
