Polaris Insight Center is a mental health clinic that specializes in LGBTQ mental health. They have a sex-positive and queer-affirmative approach, and they also recognize multicultural issues and intersectionality. They trained at Being Alive, a community clinic in West Hollywood that provides health and wellness services to HIV+ gay and queer men. After relocating to San Francisco, they spent two years working at the SF Therapy Collective in the Castro neighborhood. In 2016 they had the honor of being supervised by Dossie Easton, a licensed MFT, life-long queer advocate. She oversaw my caseload until she became fully licensed in August of 2019. They are now fully dedicated to their own private practice. They also work as a Psychedelic Therapist with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
