Amy Warren is a therapist who specializes in helping clients heal underlying wounds which affect adult life. She provides a non-judgmental environment as clients identify and address the core issues which may be leading to depression, anxiety, addictions or relationship problems. A multi-modal approach which may include counseling, EMDR, Neurofeedback and Intensive workshops enable clients to receive needed services in one setting. Infraslow (IISF) Neurofeedback helps clients become more calm, alert and resilient and often reduces or eliminates the need for medication. This non-invasive method of training the brain stabilizes the autonomic nervous system, increases emotional regulation and allows the brains of trauma survivors to shift from fight, flight or freeze to rest and repair. EMDR helps clients change negative self-beliefs and work through unresolved traumas. Having trained extensively with Pia Mellody and Terry Real, my individual and couples counseling approach is heavily influenced by their work. Healthy self esteem, boundaries, reality, self-care and moderation are all guiding principles in my practice.
