My therapy & counseling are based on the life experiences and the philosophy of Viktor Frankl. His writings describe the kinds of the situation from which he and his fellow prisoners at Auschwitz were able, on a day-to-day basis, to extract the life-sustaining meaning that was essential to their survival. My therapy has three levels: (1) use mindfulness and relaxation methods to calm the emotional brain down, and (2) use cognitive-behavioral to develop a healthy sense of resiliency. In the 3rd stage, you will learn self-distancing techniques to discover meaningfulness at the moment and find better ways to expand your uniqueness. My approach uses the Psychology of Being Unique. This method examines three questions. How do you develop a more profound sense of love in your life? How can you advance a set of values and beliefs that enables you to discover meaningfulness in every moment? How can you embrace life with hope and confidence? In this time of stress and uncertainty, you don’t need to be judged because you are worried, depressed, or angry. You don’t need to be judged because you have the wrong kind of thinking, or you lack social skills. I encourage you to try a form of therapy that appreciates your uniqueness, and together we can expand your uniqueness.
