I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that has been practicing Neurofeedback training since 2005. My undergraduate degree is from University of Central Florida and my Master's Degree is from Nova Southeastern University. I have been a mental health counselor in a variety of settings; Outpatient Treatment, Alternative Education, and Private Practice. I decided to enter the field of Neurofeedback because there was very little information available to people and parents about treatment alternatives to medication. Through the use of Neurofeedback I saw more significant changes in clients with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Insomnia, Attachment Disorders, Learning Disorders, & more. Neurofeedback is exercise for your brain and teaches the brain to better regulate itself with brain biofeedback and without electrical stimulation or medication. We provide the brain with "challenges" so it learns to regulate or shift to healthier states on its own thus learning to relax and/or focus. Brain & Wellness Center offers, Neurofeedback Training, Psychotherapy, Brain Mapping, and Biofeedback. We also have providers that offer Natural Medicine, Acupuncture, Nutritional Analysis and Counseling, Auditory processing and visual processing Learning programs, PACE, and ILS.
