Jamie Dynderski is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut. She received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Individuals, Groups, & Families. Jamie has provided individual and family therapy as well as facilitated groups. Jamie continues to pursue advanced training in working with adolescents and families regarding trauma. Her practice approach focuses on the individual strengths of the client and creating a treatment plan to feed the unique needs of each client. Jamie has experience working with diverse clients, providing both brief and long-term treatment. She has training and experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jamie has experience facilitating groups for youth to build social skills, life skills, and has used the Aggression Replacement Training curriculum to learn effective strategies for anger management. Jamie was a trainer for the Risking Connections curriculum to teach caretakers how to effectively work with a child who has suffered a trauma history. Jamie is a licensed LENS Neurofeedback practitioner who has seen successful outcomes with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, TBI, and concussions.
