Jeff Ray is a LMHC with over 30 years of sobriety and experience in counseling addicts and families. He trained at the Hanley Center and worked as the primary therapist in the men's unit there for 15 years. He left Hanley for private practice and also serve as clinical director of several South Florida drug and alcohol programs. His client-centered practice uses a variety of techniques to develop coping mechanisms, life skills and coaching to help addicts recognize their vulnerabilities, which lead to compulsive and addictive behaviors and the ensuing shame, depression and anxiety. His specialties include individual, group and family therapy for substance abuse and sex addicts and continuum of care therapy for post detox patients, those in residential treatment, intensive outpatient care and halfway house residents.
