Jon Larson has a lot of trouble being calm and alert. He feels overwhelmed and has a hard time focusing. He also has low energy and can't shake troubling thoughts. He's a full-time associate professor of psychology at Illinois Institute of Technology and teaches graduate students therapeutic interventions and methods to conduct research on evidence-based practices. Through Quantitative Electroencephalograph Biofeedback and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, he teaches his students how to increase calmness and alertness. This helps him focus on regulating his thoughts, feelings, and actions.
