My goal is to help clients achieve improved functioning as quickly as possible. I believe the most powerful transformation comes from a combination of techniques to understand and reset non-adaptive patterns, including neurofeedback, other forms of biofeedback, such as heart rate variability, emotional freedom technique (EFT), and a personality assessment I use called the Enneagram, combined with behaviorally-based counseling, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The combination of these techniques provide the foundation for holistically examining issues that stand in the way of a fuller life. I hold a Ph.D. in Inter-disciplinary Health Sciences from Western Michigan University (WMU), an MSW from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology, magna cum laude, from WMU. I completed neurofeedback training at the Institute for Applied Neuroscience in Asheville, NC. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.
