My approach to therapy is authentic, warm, strengths-based, and collaborative. As a practitioner, I believe that the patient is the expert on their own life and view therapy as an opportunity for the patient to collect a myriad of tools with which they can heal themselves. I enjoy a patient-first approach and wants to work with patients to find what treatment option will work best for them. I typically likes to incorporate CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness in working with adults with Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, and other mood disorders. I'm also a certified rehabilitation counselor and specializes in working with individuals with all types of disabilities. I believe the therapeutic alliance is where healing starts and I'm committed to showing up as my authentic self during each session. I strive to work with patients who are motivated to be active participants and are open to new ideas and techniques.
