Are you or your child struggling to regulate thoughts, feelings, or behavior? Perhaps you feel like you don't have much energy these days. Or maybe you are feeling on edge or "sped up" and have a hard time relaxing. Regardless of whether you or your child are struggling with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, or the effects of trauma or relationship challenges, we will view your symptoms through the lens of nervous system dysregulation. Through a combination of biofeedback, neurofeedback, and traditional CBT-focused psychotherapy, we will collaboratively seek to provide you with more control over your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Treatment will begin with an EEG assessment to "look under the hood" and see what brain-based markers might be contributing to symptoms. From there, we will come up with treatment plan incorporating appropriate psychotherapy approaches as well as neurofeedback and biofeedback protocols that will address these symptoms. I understand that neurofeedback may be new to you, and you might not know much about how it works. Thats ok! I am always happy to have a consultation over the phone or zoom, and can provide relevant research and introductory information.
