Robert Buri is a neuropsychologist who may be needed if you have signs of, or have had: dementia or cognitive impairment, cerebrovascular disease or stroke, acquired brain injury, Epilepsy or seizure disorder, movement disorders (Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease), systemic diseases affecting the brain or central nervous system (e.g., systemic lupus, erythematosus, demyelinating disease such as multiple sclerosis), genetic diseases affecting the central nervous system, mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder) or brain tumors. Neuropsychology involves determining how well the brain is functioning when impacted by a progressive disease, injury or other medical issues. A neuropsychological assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of a wide range of functions.
