Stuart Silberman, Psy.D., is a therapist who specializes in providing individual therapy and EEG Neurofeedback to adults and adolescents. He believes that therapy can be incredibly beneficial in many ways, but particularly in offering an opportunity to look at life experiences and difficulties within an environment that emphasizes a strong, appropriate, and trusting relationship between client and therapist. Silberman provides psychological assessment of difficult to treat cases for diagnostic clarification to ensure the treatment provided adequately target the issues presented. EEG Neurofeedback is guidance of brain function, resulting in a more efficient and self-regulated brain. We watch the brain in action from one instant to another, and we display that information back to the person. We reward the brain for altering its own activity to more suitable patterns. Silberman is able to quickly build rapport with male clients who are uncomfortable in therapeutic situations and those who have difficulty expressing their emotions.
