He believes in a collaborative, strength based approach: promoting new thoughts and more mental flexibility. What we do matters. Our actions construct our lives and shape our brains. How we perceive the world creates our emotions and our responses. Therapy helps introduce new ideas, new insights, new possibilities for interpreting one's past and present. How we got to where we are now always makes sense: how to move towards wellness is how therapy helps. I help you increase mindfulness, increase your ability to manage and tolerate your emotions, to find a way to place your attention where you want it to be. You will re-write the story you tell about yourself, using a variety of skills, and by increasing positivity.
